What to expect
A popular trail that typically takes 2-3 hours to complete and offers stunning 360° views of the city. Perfect opportunity to get to know other founders.
Route Overview
Start at the main Lion’s Head parking on Signal Hill Road and follow the well-marked trail that spirals up around the mountain. Route includes a mix of steady inclines, rocky steps, and a few short ladder/chain sections near the top. You will hike to the summit, then return to the parking via the same path.
Time & pace
A moderate 5,5 km hike that usually takes 2 to 3 hours at a steady pace, with some short, steep sections and plenty of pauses to take in the 360° views over the city, Table Mountain, and the ocean.
DMC Guidelines
Bring comfortable walking/ hiking shoes and a light layer for wind just incase. Respect different backgrounds and viewpoints. Come as you are and keep conversations inside the circle.
